 Jane Dittmar is a Virginia Supreme Court certified mediator for both General District and Circuit Courts and serves as court coordinator for the General District, Juvenile and Domestic Relations, and Circuit courts of the City of Charlottesville and the counties of Albemarle, Fluvanna, Greene and Louisa. Her responsibilities include keeping communications open among the Virginia Supreme Court, approved mediation companies, certified mediators in the region and court personnel including the Judges and the Clerks of the Court.
Dittmar is a principal in Positive Solutions Group and a business consultant specializing in strategic planning. Her background is business and she has owned and worked with many businesses in the Commonwealth particularly when she served as President of the Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce from 1992-2000.
Dittmar's practice areas include all issues involving business and consumer disputes, with an emphasis on partnership reorganization, real estate, construction, landlord tenant, insurance claims and contractual disputes; workforce and organization conflicts with an emphasis on team rebuilding and training; neighborhood and church disputes and eldercare planning. Besides her private practice, Dittmar is available for court referred cases.
Dittmar is a graduate of the University of Virginia and holds a degree in Economics. She also attended the Darden School's Executive program. She is a member of the Virginia Mediation Network.

 Phil LaMar is a principal in the Positive Solutions Group, LLC firm. He is a mediator certified, with Mentor status, by the Supreme Court of Virginia to mediate both general district court case and circuit court civil cases. In addition Mr. LaMar is an arbitrator who established an Arbitration Unit at the Community Mediation Center in Charlottesville and serves on the Virginia's Office of Consumer Affairs' Arbitration Panel.
Mr. LaMar's business mediation cases have included those involving issues of construction, intellectual property, insurance, consumer-business matters, contracts, landlord-tenant and employment. To business mediations he brings years of successful business experience which includes serving in many executive positions, including General Manager, at the Michie Company, (now Lexis Nexis), operation of his law practice and of Positive Solutions Group.
Mr. LaMar also specializes in mediating family and personal injury cases. He mediates family issues involving estate planning and will disputes and issues related to divorce and separation such as division of property, child and spousal support, custody and visitation, separation agreements.
In addition to his roles as mediator and arbitrator Mr. LaMar currently practices law in Charlottesville, Virginia. He is a member of the Virginia State Bar, the Virginia Alternative Dispute Resolution Joint Committee and the Virginia Mediation Network.


Pam Clark is a Virginia Supreme Court certified Mediator for General District, Juvenile and Domestic Relations, and Circuit Court Family courts. She is an associate mediator with Positive Solutions Group, LLC and a volunteer mediator for the Mediation Center of Charlottesville.
She mediates private cases, and for the Charlottesville and Albemarle Courts. Originally, from the United Kingdom, Pam has a wealth of experience in the healthcare environment where she spent over fifteen years in Radiation Oncology and in pharmaceutical sales. During this part of her career, she also taught undergraduate students, presented at national conferences and keenly advocated for professional development in her profession. She qualified for certification in Health Service Management, Quality Assurance and the British Pharmaceutical Industry Board.
After relocating to the United States, Pam earned Supreme Court of Virginia certification in both general and family mediation. Pam's practice areas include landlord - tenant disputes, failure to perform and other business issues and family matters. Her family mediations include custody, visitation, and other separation and divorce settlement issues.
Pam teaches co-parenting classes for the Mediation Center of Charlottesville and is a member of the Virginia Mediation Network.

 Chuck Kiehl is certified as both a Circuit Court-Civil and General District Court Mediator and is an associate with the private practice mediation firm of Positive Solutions Group, LLC. Recently retired from a large national multi-line insurance company, he brings several years of senior management experience, primarily in the fields of human resources and insurance claims.
Kiehl received his Bachelor of Science Degree In Management from West Liberty State College, WVA and his MBA Degree In Human Resources from Illinois State University. He also holds the professional CLU designation from the Society of Chartered Life Underwriters.
Chuck's primary mediation expertise has been in the area of insurance claims, including personal injury, wrongful death, property damage, medical malpractice, and workers compensation. He also has mediated contract, landlord-tenant, business-consumer, neighborhood, and employment cases.
In addition to Kiehl's work with the Positive Solutions Group, he also provides voluntary mediation services for the Community Mediation Center of Charlottesville and the Albemarle County Police Department. He is a member of the Virginia Mediation Network.

 Robin Miksad is a certified mediator in the Commonwealth of Virginia and is an Associate Mediator with Positive Solutions Group. She is certified to mediate both family and civil matters before General District Courts, Juvenile and Domestic Courts and Circuit Courts. She is also a certified mentor for aspiring mediators. Robin mediates both court-referred and private cases, including family matters, work place conflicts, and commercial/business issues.
As a family mediator Robin has mediated cases involving contested wills; leadership succession in a family business; couples separation (both married and unmarried); division of property and divorce; and child custody and visitation. Her business cases have included dissolution of a partnership, employee conflict; unpaid rent; breach of promise; and disputed property ownership. Prior to becoming a mediator Robin held administrative positions at two major universities; taught business courses at the college level; and served on the boards of professional and non-profit organizations.
Her education includes an MBA (Organization Development) from Sloan School, MIT and an AB (Biology) from Harvard University. She is a member of the Virginia Mediation Network.
